Today we had Peter from Canterbury Hockey to visit us. First we had to get a hockey stick up to our belly button and then Peter taught us how to play. First we started dribbling the ball . Next we learnt how to stop and dodge other players. We had to control the ball at all times. Lastly we played rob the nest. I found it hard and tiring to stick to the ball. I found it easy to dodge the other players.
I am a Year 6 student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. My teacher is Miss H. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
