Why we should ban plastic straws

 Hi bloggers today in writing we have been learning about persuasive writing and in our reading groups we have been reading books and stories about different things, in my group we have been reading about why we should ban plastic straws! I agree with them banning plastic straws will help our environment and our planet here is my writing hope you agree!

 Why we should ban plastic straws

  In the world we have plastic. People think it's useful when it is actually ruining our earth. Talking about plastic, plastic STRAWS the worst of the worst of plastic. Kids have been telling our parents about this, never works. Plastic is taking over our beautiful environment.

Firstly there are animals, mostly sea animals, who have been dieing of this bad thing, plastic. There is a video of a plastic straw stuck in a poor old turtle's nose. Plastic harms animals more than other things do. People really don't care about this world that we are living in.

 It  harms not just animals but people, let me tell you what it does to people. When people burn plastic it makes fossil fuels which is REALLY bad for us humans. It makes the air hard to breath in and lots of people have been dieing of the fumes  each and every year. THIS IS LIKE MURDER. We use plastic AND PEOPLE DIE this is bad.

This is just crazy. All we have to do is just change plastic straws into unstoppable cardboard straws and use bamboo straws. It's that easy to change one single thing really easy and better for us for animals and lastly our environment, change it's for the best. The best for us.

That is all my opinion. You can not agree sometimes as plastic straws are good but I realized something bad. Something WAY BAD about plastic straws, maybe you will too. So make a change. Be great and BE your opinion and shout it out to the world, you're beautiful just the way you are.
