I am a Year 6 student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. My teacher is Miss H. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Facts about asteroids rocks
Asteroids are small, rocky objects that orbit the Sun.
The first asteroid was Ceres, discovered by Giuseppe Piazzi in 1801.
There are currently over 600,000 known asteroids in our solar system.
Most asteroids are found orbiting in the Asteroid Belt, a series of rings located between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter.
Image result for what are asteroids made of
They are made up of oxygen and silicon, the number one and number two most abundant elements in the Earth's crust. The metallic asteroids are composed of up to 80 palladium, platinum, gold, magnesium and other precious metals such as osmium, ruthenium and rhodium.% iron and 20% a mixture of nickel, iridium,
What Do Asteroids Look Like? In October, 1991, the first close-up views of the asteroid Gaspra were taken by the Galileo spacecraft on its way to Jupiter. Gaspra is an irregularly shaped body 19 by 12 by 11 kilometers (12 by 7.5 by 7 miles) whose rocky surface is covered with impact craters

PB4L Reflection
Today in home room time we did a reflection on PB4L (positive behavior for learning). We did this because it is the last day of term and we needed to set goals for next term. I enjoy reflecting on things and making new goals.
I found it easy to set goals but i found it hard to not have fun

Straw Rafts
In inquiry we are leaning about the Design process. The Design process is where you plan ,design and test a product or theory.Sometimes when you test it,it doesn't work and you have to start at the beginning again to see how you would make it better .Mrs McG gave us a challenge. We had to plan, design+build a straw raft to float with 40kg it was really hard my problem is me and Carla didn't make the straw raft that good I found it hard I found it challenging.
